Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the importer of pre-packaged commodities shall apply to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Director of Legal Metrology shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
