Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any registered proprietor of a design dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Controller in Form 3, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every application then held; and the Controller shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
