Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005 (Kerala Act 8 of 2005); (b) "licensee" means a person carrying on the running of a licensed guest house; (c) "guest register" means a guest register received, held or disposed of by a licensee in the course of the running of a licensed guest house; (d) "Form VIII" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
