Application for registration.—Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 5, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees and a statement of every mutation held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
