Surrender of certificate.—Every electrical contractor who ceases to carry on the execution of electrical installation work shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Chief Electrical Inspector in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form V of the manner in which every connection held by him has been disposed of.
