Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the auctioneer shall apply to the Inspector General of Registration in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Inspector General of Registration shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
