Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the insurer issuing policies shall apply to the Superintendent of Stamps in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Superintendent of Stamps shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
