Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a quarry lease shall apply to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form J for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Regional Controller of Mines shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
