Regulation 2, CERC (Registration of Owners of a solar power plant) Regulations, 2025 [SEH-EQ3]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003); (b) "owner of a solar power plant" means a person carrying on the generation of electricity from solar energy; (c) "register of consumers" means a register of consumers received, held or disposed of by a owner of a solar power plant in the course of the generation of electricity from solar energy; (d) "Form VIII" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
