Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the taxable person shall apply to the Principal Commissioner in Form GST REG-01 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Principal Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
