Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a private service vehicle dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal in Form 29, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of registration then held; and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall enter the intimation in the register within sixty days of its receipt.
