Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the Block Development Officer in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Block Development Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
