Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of land adjoining an embankment who ceases to carry on the use of land adjoining an embankment shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Custodian of Enemy Property in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 3 of the manner in which every notice of acquisition held by him has been disposed of.
