Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the implementing agency shall apply to the Accountant General in Form GFR 12-C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Accountant General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
