Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964 (Goa Act 7 of 1964); (b) "allottee of surplus land" means a person carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land; (c) "patta" means a patta received, held or disposed of by a allottee of surplus land in the course of the holding of allotted surplus land; (d) "Form 2" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
