Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the inquiry officer shall apply to the Government of West Bengal in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Government of West Bengal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
