Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a contract carriage shall apply to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
