Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the public authority shall apply to the Central Vigilance Commission in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Central Vigilance Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
