Application for registration.—Every bank conducting Government business carrying on the conduct of Government business by a bank shall make an application for registration to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 12-A, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every bill held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
