Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer in second-hand goods shall apply to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
