Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the kazi shall apply to the District Court in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the District Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
