Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "sharecropper" means a person carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper; (c) "parcel of land" means a parcel of land received, held or disposed of by a sharecropper in the course of the cultivation of land as a sharecropper; (d) "Form 12" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
