Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (30 of 2019); (b) "practitioner of Indian medicine" means a person carrying on the practice of Indian medicine; (c) "medical device" means a medical device received, held or disposed of by a practitioner of Indian medicine in the course of the practice of Indian medicine; (d) "Form 28" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
