Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a contract carriage who ceases to carry on the plying of a contract carriage shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the State Transport Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 20 of the manner in which every goods receipt held by him has been disposed of.
