Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the driving school shall apply to the State Transport Authority in Form 23 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the State Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
