Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the payer of dividend shall apply to the Commissioner in Form 15G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
