Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any allottee of surplus land dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and eighty days of the death, intimate the death to the Revenue Divisional Officer in Form 1, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every demand notice then held; and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
