Application for registration.—Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application for registration to the Revenue Divisional Officer in Form 8, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every survey number held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
