Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensee of a patent shall apply to the Appellate Board in Form 27 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of four thousand rupees, and the Appellate Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
