Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the insurance marketing firm shall apply to the Government of Puducherry in Form IRDA-2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Government of Puducherry shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
