Application for registration.—Every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall make an application for registration to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority in Form C, within ninety days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees and a statement of every certificate of stamp duty held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
