Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a printing press shall apply to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
