Application for registration.—Every significant data fiduciary carrying on the processing of personal data by a significant data fiduciary shall make an application for registration to the Data Protection Board in Form D, within three days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every computer resource held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
