Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the subscriber shall apply to the Central Government in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Central Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
