Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any fair price shop dealer dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Commissioner of Food Safety in Form H, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every stock of foodgrains then held; and the Commissioner of Food Safety shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
