Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the appellate authority shall apply to the Central Information Commission in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Central Information Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
