Safe custody.—Every owner of a goods carriage shall keep every road tax receipt to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the carriage of goods for hire is carried on, shall record in Form 20 the description of every road tax receipt so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Government of Gujarat within seven days of the close of each year.
