Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the National Medical Commission in the custody of the Registrar of the Council, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the National Medical Commission; and where the Registrar of the Council having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 21 within forty-five days of the succession.
