Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the stock broker shall apply to the Securities Appellate Tribunal in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Securities Appellate Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
