Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the gratuity trust shall apply to the Central Board in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Central Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
