Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme who ceases to carry on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Board in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form C of the manner in which every tube well held by him has been disposed of.
