Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the depository participant shall apply to the Registrar of Companies in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Registrar of Companies shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
