Surrender of certificate.—Every keeper of a public register who ceases to carry on the maintenance of a public register shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Central Vigilance Commission in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form C of the manner in which every register of requests held by him has been disposed of.
