Surrender of certificate.—Every distribution licensee who ceases to carry on the distribution of electricity shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Grievance Redressal Forum in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form VIII of the manner in which every meter held by him has been disposed of.
