Clause 2, Bihar Tenancy (Mutation Control) Order, 2013 [SDW-6NG]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885 (Bihar Act 8 of 1885); (b) "person in possession of land" means a person carrying on the possession of land; (c) "survey number" means a survey number received, held or disposed of by a person in possession of land in the course of the possession of land; (d) "Form 7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
