Application for registration.—Every contractor carrying on the execution of contracts shall make an application for registration to the Comptroller and Auditor-General in Form GFR 41, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every grant held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
