Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in appointments to the post of Joint Inspecting Officer in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, being a Group 'A' post carrying Level 10 in the pay matrix, in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time in this regard.
