Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manufacturer shall apply to the Joint Commissioner in Form GST REG-01 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Joint Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
