Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any customs house agent dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Export Promotion Council in Form SEZ-2, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every foreign exchange then held; and the Export Promotion Council shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
