Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the fair price shop dealer shall apply to the Designated Officer in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Designated Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
